Fiction writer
Dana Lapides grew up in in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. She studied Mathematics at Lafayette College and completed a PhD in Earth Science at University of California, Berkeley in 2020. In 2022, she moved to Tucson, Arizona, where she works as a Research Hydrologist for the USDA Agricultural Research Service studying water resources challenges in the Western United States (learn more about her hydrology work). In her free time, she likes to rock climb and play the piano.
Dr. Lapides has been a student at the Writers Studio since 2024. She writes short fiction and flash fiction. You can find her published work below.
